We successfully delivered a new staff and visitor car park for Scotts Engineering, providing a practical, durable and professionally finished parking area to support the company’s day-to-day operations.

Our team delivered a comprehensive groundworks and external works package, including ground stabilisation and retaining structures, through to drainage, kerbing, grading and final surfacing.

The Challenge

The project required careful preparation and stabilisation of the existing ground to create a suitable formation for the new car park.

Changes in ground levels also required the construction of retaining structures, alongside effective drainage and careful management of finished levels to create a stable, durable and well-drained parking area.

Our Solution

Our team managed and delivered the works from the initial excavation and ground preparation through to completion of the finished car park.

The works included:

• Reduced-level excavation

• Muck away and disposal

• Ground stabilisation

• Retaining structures

• Drainage installation

• Kerbing

• Grading and preparation

• Car park surfacing

Following excavation, the ground was stabilised and prepared to provide a suitable formation for the new construction. Retaining structures were incorporated where required to accommodate changes in levels and provide long-term stability.

Drainage and kerbing were then installed before the area was carefully graded and prepared for the final surfacing works.

Project Outcome

The completed works provided Scotts Engineering with a new dedicated staff and visitor parking facility, delivering a practical and durable solution while improving the surrounding external areas.

The project demonstrates our ability to undertake complete groundworks and external works packages, incorporating excavation, ground stabilisation, retaining structures, drainage and surfacing from initial site preparation through to completion.
