Hardy Solar Project, Dorset

RJR played a key role in the delivery of the Hardy Solar Farm project, supporting the construction of a new 132kV high-voltage substation that enables the efficient transfer of renewable energy into the National Grid. Our team was responsible for all trench excavations, cable duct installations and joint bay excavations, providing the essential civil engineering works required for the high-voltage cable infrastructure.

In addition to the construction works, RJR managed all highway permits, coordinated cable jointing teams and site engineers, delivered the temporary works and associated designs, carried out cable pulling operations, and completed all final reinstatement works. Through careful planning, technical expertise and effective project management, we successfully delivered a comprehensive package of works that contributed to the successful connection of this renewable energy project, reinforcing our capability to deliver complex infrastructure solutions for the UK's growing clean energy sector.
